Hi!  I'm Sydney,

and I am a licensed massage therapist and founder of Bellingham Therapeutic Massage.

I am on a mission to help people improve their physical and emotional functions so they can improve their quality of life.

Whether you are experiencing pain, tension, or fatigue in your body, feel mentally/emotionally stressed out, or if you need a calming space where you can focus on yourself, I am here to help.

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2012 after graduating from an accredited program at Cortiva Institute School of Massage in Seattle. Most of my career has been primarily working in therapeutic-centered clinical settings which allowed me to gain a tremendous amount of experience working with people from unique backgrounds and life stories. Yet, a commonly reoccurring circumstance I repeatedly observed with the clients I worked with was an underlying mind and body fatigue that seemed to stem from the accumulation of daily life stressors.

I have seen this fatigue present as chronic and acute pain/injury, low energy, poor sleep quality, anxiety, and depression, and often become insidiously disruptive to their quality of life. I have worked with countless clients who sought out massage therapy as a way to quite literally take the pressure and "weight of the world" off their shoulders.

I opened Bellingham Therapeutic Massage at the end of 2021 to establish a private practice that would offer a space for people to come and decompress from the stress of their daily life. As someone who has struggled with emotional stress personally, I understand how important it is to establish a self-care routine and put the focus back on myself so that I can recharge my energy both mentally and physically. My goal is to provide you with attentive massage therapy as part of your own self-care routine.

You can live without heavy shoulders, tension headaches, neck restrictions, back pain, and low energy.

It's time to take time for yourself and restore your well-being!

Hi!  I'm Sydney,

owner of and massage therapist at Bellingham Therapeutic Massage, LLC,

I have been a massage therapist since 2012 and have worked in a variety of therapeutic focused clinical settings throughout my career. In 2021 I decided that it was time for me to take my day dream of starting my own private practice and manifest my vision into a reality.

I opened Bellingham Therapeutic Massage to satisfy the desire that I have to hold space for clients in a way that recognizes the reoccurring issues I have seen over and over again after close to 10 years as an LMT; to validate that the ways in which we use our bodies in our modern day environment are contributing to mind/body disconnect. I have witnessed "burnout" in many of the clients I have worked with over the years, developing from a variety of different events and articulated in many dysfunctional ways. The pressures of daily life can build up and express as emotional and physical discomfort in our bodies causing disruption in our life experiences.

I am on a mission to offer you compassionate and supportive therapeutic care in the hopes of creating a recharging experience that allows you to feel better connected within yourself.

My philosophy on healing is that the human experience is rooted in resiliency; I believe that you have the ability to overcome your suffering through your power to directly influence your capacity for healing. I also believe that a fundamental component of someone’s healing journey is meaningful connection. Through the collaboration of meaningful connection and your personal advocacy to overcome your discomfort, I believe that we can create a powerful dynamic that will help you to gain perspective and awareness in how to move forward towards healing.
